Join us to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and produce raw materials sustainably. Hycamite TCD Technologies produces clean hydrogen and industrial-quality solid carbon by splitting methane molecules. We break the methane with our proprietary zero-emission technology and heat.

Hydrogen: our technology requires only 13% of the energy needed to produce hydrogen by electrolysis. No carbon-dioxide emissions are released to atmosphere.

Carbon: Methane’s carbon is captured and used as a raw material. Our industrial-quality solid carbon is fit for demanding applications, such as Li-ion batteries, composite materials and as an additive for cement.

We are a team of professionals wanting to decarbonise industry with novel technology. Hycamite are team players from many different disciplines: lab technicians, engineers, analysts, process technologists and many other professionals. We have students just leaving university as well as professionals with long careers.

Most of us work entirely at our headquarters in Kokkola, Finland, but some work can also be done remotely.
